VTG Silver Gold CAMEXCO Mother Pearl Cameo Pin/Pendant & Screw Back Earring Set. 835. Vintage jewelry set (as early as 1930s)
European silver. Made in Italy. Vintage antique.
This is a three piece Cameo set, hand carved out of beautiful lustrous mother of pearl shell and set in 835 silver ( 835 is the purity hallmark of European silver, which is 83.5% silver and 16.5%, copper. ) The set includes a 1” brooch pin back, which has a bail for necklace to be worn as pendant. A pair of dangle drop earrings with screw back posts. All pieces are marked. All pieces set in silver with a thin twisted gold accent band of unknown composition. Pendant brooch marked Camexco&C and earrings backs are stamped 835. Entire set has light patina, which looks really nice (not dirty) and is in need of cleaning IF you wanted to bring back the original luster and shine. I leave any polishing or detail work to the new owner. Original presentation box is long gone; however, the box in the photo is included (metallic blue gift box, lined with white satin and trimmed with bow)
