Vintage VAPOROLE Aromatic Ammonia Capsule Case with Six Capsules

Description

This vintage tin ammonia capsule container is a product of the pharmaceutical company, Burroughs Wellcome & Co., Inc., located in Tuckahoe, New York.
It measures approximately 2 ¼” in length, 1 ¾” in width and ¾” in height and features an aqua/green tin case containing six ammonia capsules.
Each of the original capsules are enclosed in a silken sac.
The container lid displays information and directions regarding “Vaporole”, the trademark name coined by Burroughs, Wellcome & Company for their aromatic smelling salts.
Paper directions are also enclosed and the hinge and clasp are in good working order.
Despite some minor scuffs/scratches and discoloration on the base, this vintage tin and the contents are in very good condition.
