Description

A most excellent vintage Mario Valentino black leather pencil skirt. Circa 1980's. Form-fitting, high waisted skirt designed to hug body contours from waist to ankle. Leather is supple with some structure. Deep, true black. Slightly contoured waistband. Skirt has front and back angled waist darts for fit. Wide brass zip closure at right side zips on & off from bottom to top. Can be worn zipped fully closed to the hem or zip open to desired height. Leather is in excellent condition, not dried out whatsoever. Lining is intact and in great overall condition, no broken seams or tears.
CONDITION NOTES:
1. Very slight wear along most of the lower edge of leather hem. See photo #11. Very minor, not very noticeable.
2. Lining has slight wear along a 7" length of the lower hem, has caused a slight amount of fraying. See photo #11. This can be mended easily.
3. A few very tiny nibbles to inner edge of leather near zipper. See photo #12. This does not compromise the structure or exterior whatsoever.
100% Leather with 100% Rayon Lining.
Very good to Excellent Condition.
Made in Italy.

Length: 34.5" (taken at Center Front); 35.5" (taken at side seam). Waistband is contoured.
Circumference at Lower Hem: 31"
Side Zipper Length: 34"
Zipper Width: 0.5"
2" Vent below Zipper at Lower Hem
Horizontal seam across skirt falls 19.5" down from waist (at approximate knee level)
