Edwardian Embroidered White Irish Linen Eyelet Cutwork Summer Skirt
This antique Edwardian era embroidered white Irish linen eyelet cutwork summer skirt dates from 1910. It is made of a white fine quality Irish linen fabric with raised padded satin stitch hand embroidered eyelet cutwork floral vine leaf designs on the front and along the sides. This ladies lovely summer skirt is a long floor length, with a fitted waistband, snap, hook closures down the back, is sheer, unlined. The skirt measures 41 inches long, with a 22 inch waist and 56 inch hips. It is in good condition, with only a few faint tiny rust stains on the back closure (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
