Vintage Art Deco Red Silk Black Beaded Embroidered Flapper Dress Skirt Fabric
This vintage Art Deco red silk black beaded embroidered flapper dress skirt fabric dates from the 1920s. It is made of a red silk fabric with silver and black beading, red and cream silk embroidery work, French knot accents creating a Chinoiserie Orientalism inspired decorative designs. This beautiful beaded flapper dress fabric skirt remnant has a scalloped roundels medallions bottom border trim, lattice grid pattern beaded boxes and would have been used on the bottom of the skirt, it is unlined, with no closures. The fabric measures 36 inches wide and is 19 inches long. It is in good as-is condition, with several loose missing beads and a tiny frayed hole). Great for upcycling and reuse creating into some new. This is truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco Chinoiserie Orientalism beaded wearable art!
