VINTAGE ANTIQUE CZECH WOMENS GIRLS PEASANT FOLK COSTUME KROJ SKIRT MORAVIAN

Description

This is the old original woman´s folk back skirt that comes from Moravian kroje region of Kyjov. Fine cotton fabric with floral embroidery, folk ribbon waistband. This skirt is tight pleated in the waist area and has no lining. Women wear these back skirts with the puffy slips that give the skirts the volume and covered with the aprons in front. Wearable addition to any woman´s or girl´s folk costume!

Condition:
original, vintage, well-worn, clean. The fabric is very fragile and unfortunately it has a number of the repaired spots (with stitching) - please see the photos, and there are some tiny holes visible against the light!
