Vintage 1950s Novelty Print Cotton Full Skirt Straw Hat & Purple Polka Dots

Crazy cute vintage 1950s skirt! A pattern I have not seen before, features straw hats with a wide purple ribbon band on polka dot background. Light lavender purple with white, brown, and medium purple accents. High fitting banded waist with metal hook closure & snap at side. 100% cotton fabric in a medium weight, easy wear and care for and has been freshly hand washed. Pictured with a small crinoline, but looks great worn without one as well. Skirt is in good vintage condition, clean and ready to wear with a few small things to note. There are 2 repairs to fabric at side waist closure as pictured and a scattering of spots (looks like rust stains to me) that  I was not able to lift or soak out. No other stains to skirt, please refer to close up photos of the waist. There is a small gap at waist closure as picture but this could be eliminated by moving hook  to fit a smaller waist. It is currently set for a snug 26" waist. Fabric is strong & sturdy, print is fantastic - no other issues to note and presents beautifully!
