    Description

    Up for purchase is a pretty vintage 1950s handpainted Mexican circle skirt.  Made by Kent from cotton with multi-colored painted designs with a few scattered Ab crystal accents. Beautiful bathing beauties & palm trees & says Xochimilco (the floating gardens).   Skirt has side hidden pockets.   Waist measures approximately 13" across but eyes could be moved to add an inch.  Skirt length is approximately 30".  Sweep is 209".   There is a yellowish mark on the waistband that could be part of the painted fabric.  Otherwise skirt shows light wear consistent with age.  Great for casual, cruise, party, cocktail, or evening wear or ballroom or swing dance.  Would look good with or without a crinoline.  From my own private collection.
