Vintage 1940's Sun Kraft Cold Quartz Lamp - Beautifully restored and converted

This rare and vintage lamp is an original Sun Kraft lamp from the 1930s-40s, made in Chicago. It is essentially a desk lamp, fully adjustable and converted from its original status as a quartz lamp for
ultraviolet / ozone medical apparatus designed to help with
all kinds of medical ailments, including skin conditions.
My intention was to restore this lamp by keeping the integrity and beauty of the original design, but make it a functional piece of furniture instead of it
just
being a novel item with no use. I have meticulously removed rust and grime from original parts, and outfitted all new fixtures to include: candelabra socket and bulb to the housing, toggle switch, rubber grommets and compatible wiring. In doing so, eliminating the hazardous mercury bulb inside as well as
the timer mechanism in the base.
**Please note: There are lots of similar lamps here on ebay, in their original state, but I would recommend NOT using them due to the dangers associated with old wiring, toxic substances (mercury) and lack of oversight and harm associated with using ultraviolet rays**
The lamp is made
mostly
of a brushed chrome on steel, some stainless, and some parts are nickel plated.
The housing contains a slender 40-watt candelabra bulb (included) as given the narrow space in the shade. The mirrored reflector inside helps disperse light.
While the condition is excellent and the lamp shows well, there are some blemishes here and there, due to oxidation, some surface rust and discolorations from old age (70+ years) and use. Also something to note, due to the fully adjustable feature of this lamp, some occasional tightening will need to be done when positions are set.
