VICTORIAN 19TH C SHEER SEPIA LONG SKIRT W SCALLOP EDGED FLORAL EMBROIDERY
DATING TO THE VICTORIAN 19TH CENTURY
FASHIONED OF A THIN SEPIA SILK AND WOOL BLEND WITH VERTICAL GROUPED PLEATING RUNNING FULLY AROUND WITH A BEAUTIFUL EMBROIDERED BAND THAT HAS A PRINT RUNNING THROUGHOUT THE DETAIL AND RUNS AROUND THE SKIRT FOLLOWED BY PLEATING WITH A BOTTOM BELL OPENING FULL.
THE SKIRT IS BEAUTIFULLY SHEER.
CONDITION
:  THREE THUMBPRINTS OF LIGHT YELLOW AGE COLOR WITH SEVERAL SMALL SPLITS BETWEEN PLEATS ON THE BOTTOM JUST BELOW THE EMBROIDERY, ONCE REPAIRED WOULD BE COMPLETELY UNSEEN.  A HOOK AND EYE IS NEEDED AT THE CLOSURE IN THE REAR.
