Tibetan Carving Knife - Vintage - Extremely Rare - Purchased in TIBET!
This is a carving knife that I personally purchased while traveling in Tibet in 2005.
The knife can be used to cut meat (yuk). To my knowledge this knife was never used.
It is nicely detailed and hand finished.
It is 7 inches long and the blade is 2.5 inches.
It is made out of steel and pewter.
It has some coral beads on it... some are missing (see photos)
The scabbard is also covered in some animal skin. Not sure what animal.
