Description

Up for purchase is this awesome and rare original set of NBC promotional posters from 1966. Initially, the network sent out sets of 11 posters to its affiliates to promote the shows. It then made this set of four available for purchase by the general public.
Included in the set are:
A "Get Smart" poster illustrated by cartoonist Jack Davis, a founder of Mad magazine who's work graced TV Guide and dozens of other magazine covers, movie ads, etc. The poster features images of series stars Don Adams and Barbara Feldon.
An "I Spy" poster illustrated by Gustav Rehberger, an artist known for his "manly" works (such as Marlboro ads and movie posters). Featured on the poster are "I Spy" stars Robert Culp and Bill Cosby.
A "Bonanza" poster featuring the art of James Bama, known for his "Star Trek" and "Doc Savage" illustrations, and later his Western works. This poster shows series stars Dan Blocker, Lorne Greene, and Michael Landon.
Finally, "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." poster, which was illustrated by Jerry Allison, a magazine and paperback book cover artist. The poster features great images of stars Robert Vaughn and David McCallum.
The posters, which each measure approximately 21"by 24", are in very nice condition. The lightweight paper is still crisp and the color images are bright. These posters have been rolled up and stored for decades and were uncovered at a vintage estate sale.
None of the 4 have been hung up and all have been rolled for storage. For 53 years old, they are pretty excellent in condition with a wrinkle here or there. No tack holes! No rips! See all pics and feel free to ask for more pics.
Just ready to be professionally framed and hung.
What a great set of 60’s vintage pop culture!
Will be rolled together and shipped in a sturdy poster tube for safety.
