This is a Sweet combination of Victorian Silverplate & Art Glass as a BUD VASE! The Heart shaped base stands on 3 little ball feet, has a fancy repousse scroll design and an open work center stem supporting the holder for the vase. A lovely electric blue art glass vase fits perfectly into the base. It is hand painted with stems of Lily of the Valley - larger on the front, smaller on the back - and a blue winged dragonfly - all accented with gold! Likely an Original pairing - Circa 1890's. Marked: Meriden B. Company - Quadruple Plate - 459. Measurements: 7.5" tall, Heart shaped base is 3" x 3.5", Vase with peg insert is 5" tall.
