Large Chinese Brush Painting With Butterfly, Chrysanthemum, Peony & Bamboo
Huge, very nicely executed traditional Chinese shan shui/sansui brush painting of two butterfly among bamboo, chrysanthemum, peony, and other flora. It bears the seal of the painter in addition to the seal of a previous owner. It has been professionally framed and matted behind museum non-glare glass. The painting itself shows signs that it once hung freely, having small imperfections in the medium. It may have previously been a scroll painting but I did not remove the backing in order to investigate further.
This large, framed vintage painting measures 31.5" x 16.5".

All items are measured but round items or items of odd shape are measured and approximated without the use of a caliper so there may be .25" variance +/-.
