Edwardian Black Wool Embroidered Arrow Detail Button Trim Belted Walking Skirt
This antique Edwardian era black wool embroidered arrow detail button trim belted walking skirt dates from 1910. It is made of a black fine challis wool fabric with black silk embroidered arrowhead details and pleated scalloped button trim decorative accents. This beautiful black walking skirt is a long floor length, with hook, snap closures on the front, a separate matching fabric belt with button closure and is unlined. The skirt measures 38 inches long, with a 24 inch waist, 44 inch hips and a 31 inch long belt. It is in good as-is condition, with a few tiny moth hole nips and a small frayed hole mended repair on the bottom front. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
