This is a brand new main compressor operating relay for the Bunn Ultra-2 machine.  This relay sends power to the compressor in accordance with user's thickness input, torque sensor input, temperature probe input, and Ultra-2 programming.  This device is found inside the machine on the "ceiling" of the inside compartment above the compressor on the right side (when looking from the front).  Unlike some replacements offered on ebay, this is the exact relay that currently comes on the machine from the factory and has the manual test lever that is found on the original relay which makes troubleshooting much easier.
WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BUY A USED RELAY

You should only buy new parts for many of the components on your machine, and this is one of them.  This relay has moving parts inside, and the parts that move the high power electrical contacts mechanically open and shut every time the compressor comes on and goes off.  This not only wears the parts and springs, it "burns" the high power contacts a little bit every time the cycle occurs.  A used relay of this size may be pretty well worn out and the contacts can be pretty well used up by the time you get a used relay, and it is not worth wasting the money let alone machine down time and your time to remove and install a new relay when the used one fails early.
NOTE:  Early Ultra machines used a relay that worked the same but looks different.  It is black all around and the wire pin layout is different.  This new relay is a superior option to the older all-black relay in that it allows you to manually activate the relay with an external lever, checking to see if the coil and compressor are working without having to even take out a meter.

What's a relay?
A relay is simply an electrically-operated switch.  When low power electricity is supplied to the relay, a coil energizes and creates a magnetic field that pulls a metal piece toward the magnetized coil.  Attached to the moving metal piece is the high power electric contact that comes together with a stationary high power  contact, allowing high power electricity to flow through the two contacts and on to the compressor.  The Ultra-2 electronic control board (main "brain") sends electricity to low power coil in this relay that in turn causes the movement noted above to send high power to the machine's compressor.
