These are brand new from Bunn CDS faucet dowel pins.  You will receive two factory dowel pins with each order.
NOTE:  The CDS machines have been declared obsolete by Bunn for several years, meaning they no longer support or guarantee parts availability.  We have purchased a stock of certain CDS parts, including handles and pins, but when ours are gone it may be the end of finding these parts.  You may want to consider buying a spares for the future to keep your machine running.
These pins never break, they are always lost.  To replace the pins, insert the spring then the Lubri-Film lubricated faucet spool into the faucet receptacle on the front of the hopper, insert the pin (
adjust the pin so it sticks out equally on both sides)
, then replace the handle.  The arrow on top of the spool should point toward the hopper.
The technically correct way to install a handle is to disassemble them (unscrew the ball, remove the metal ring, separate the halves) then reassemble the parts around the dowel pin.  But, unless you are like "Mongo the Destroyer" (he breaks everything in our shop), you can carefully pull the ends of the handle apart just enough to slip over the faucet and the dowel pin.
