Antique Vintage Victorian Black Evening Party Flared Skirt/Fab Fabric

A fabulous piece of fashion history ~ An antique Victorian 1890/1900's black evening party skirt. Black heavily embroidered fabric, probably silk. Flared flounce at base. Hook and snaps closed in back. An inner loop for a chatelaine.  Polished cotton lined. Very well made.

Has not been cleaned, but no odors.
Condition - there are some worn spots/holes and the inner polished cotton lining shows some staining ( only on the inside) as shown. A few snaps need some thread.  Unique !
