Antique Chinese Double Swords Shuang Jian

A good set of Shuang Jian double swords circa 2nd half of 19th century. The fittings are fairly typical of these kind of swords, cast brass with water buffalo horn grips. The grips are pretty good with some age cracks to the reverse sides. The scabbard fittings and guards are slightly loose from age.The wood scabbard has some fragility and it's lacquer covering is gone. A few small cracks but it does it's job. The blades show some pattern. There are some small nicks in the edges and they are quite sharp. They can still do what they were made for. 28" overall with 19.5" blades. The blades are well made and somewhat heavy. Judging from the pricing of other examples on Ebay these are fairly inexpensive.
