LOT includes 9 true original vintage skirts

1. Purple & Gray Atomic Starburst Floral Skirt.
Original tag included.
Tag reads: "The Opera"
A-line /semi-full panel skirt
Nice weight with a silky feel and light sheen
Cotton lining.
Discoloration/ stain on inside lining, not visible from outside.
Metal "Marvel" Zipper
Waist: 28"
Length: 31.5" (no stretch )
2. 1960s cotton wrap skirt with functional buttons
Blue stripe with green embroidered diamond shaped accents.
Original tag included.
Tag reads: "Dutchmaid, Ephrata PA., Size 28, 100% Cotton"
Tiny dot near waistband some minor loose threads
Waist: 28"
Length (no stretch): 24.5"
3. White permapleat accordion full skirt.
Original size/ care tag included.
Tag reads: "100% Polyester, Machine wash warm, Line or fluff dry, Style 9971S, Size 13/14"
Small stain the size of a pea at the waist.
Overall dingy - needs a soak otherwise good.

4. 1950s/early 60s tan silk pencil skirt with cream off-white polka dots.
Metal "CC" zipper button closure. Button is slightly loose.
Upon close inspection, there are some very small holes in the front and inner lining.
Small discoloration/ stain on the front.
No tags.
Belt loops, original belt not included.
Waist: 26"

5. 1950s Alex Coleman of California full floral skirt with blue roses.
Original tag included.
Tag reads: "Alex Coleman California"
Metal "Talon" zipper and hook and eye closure.
Skirt was altered to extend waist.
Small stain/soiled area at top along waist

6. 1970s 40s style A-line navy blue skirt with 2-tone navy & white decorative buttons down the front.
Original tag included.
Tag reads: "La Bene"
Broken seam stitches on front left side seam, approx 1" long
Belt loops, original belt not included.
Nylon "Talon" zipper in the back with brown button button above it.

7. 1950s designer Muriel Sportswear of Miami flare skirt
Original tag included.

Classic MCM atomic geometric design in blue, over white with tiny rosebuds and has.....Pockets!
Functional pearly buttons (top one slightly loose)

8. 1970s designer Glen Echo Sportswear red, white and blue checkered plaid A-line skirt
Original designer and care tags included.

Care tag reads: Machine wash warn & gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Drip dry & press with cool iron"

9. 1950s Royal purple full skirt with rick rack trim
Vibrant color purple.
100% Cotton
Metal zipper w hook and eye closure in the back.
Upon close inspection, there are a couple small spots on back but it looks like it'll wash out.

*** I have dogs. They do not wear the clothes, but you may find a hair in spite of my best efforts- if this will bother you please don't bid. I always recommend cleaning garments anyways - unless otherwise noted the items have not been cleaned and most have been in storage. If you have questions about cleaning your newly acquired garments I am happy to help.

About vintage clothing: All vintage is going to have some signs of wear, even new items with tags have been in storage for years and will show signs of that. Things that are normal and to be expected are: loose threads. Maybe some minor home repairs. Things that I will always note are : open or strained seams, Color inconsistency, Stains, holes or tears. I strive to give the most accurate descriptions I can. If I have missed anything significant please let me know so we can come to a solution.

How We Measure:
All of our items are measured for accuracy in sizing. The items are placed on a flat surface and measured according to the specific measurement being taken. (Ex: Underarm to underarm for bust.) After the measurement is taken, the number is doubled to get the true measurement.  All measurements are in inches and sizes are US. We are happy to make additional measurements on any item upon request.

Proper Fit:
Most garments need some room to allow for movement. If you don't have an inch or two free in the hips of a skirt for example, you may just find you can't bend in it!
How to determine your size:
1.         Grab a measuring tape!
2.         Take your actual measurements as described below.
3.         Get out your best fitting skirt/blouse/dress/etc. and measure it!
Bust: Measure across fullest part of your bust, under your arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep the measuring tape level and parallel to the floor around your back.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, where you wear your pants (bellybutton height). Keep the measuring tape level and parallel to the floor around your waist.
Hips: Measure around fullest part of your hips (about 9" down from natural waistline). The measuring tape level and parallel to the floor around your hips.
Now you have a good idea of your size!
