This amazing skirt was created in the Edwardian period which is the first part of the 20th century. It is beautifully hand- crafted. I just can't even begin to imagine the amount of time it took to create such a wonderful piece. The waist is 23 inches.  It closes in the front.  Look at the fine details of the creation and note the exquisite patterns that were created in the lace. It is amazing that this has survived for this long. The skirt length in front is 42 inches, and the skirt length in back is 57 inches.  It would have had a matching bodice and would have been totally lined in silk.  This could be used in the construction of an amazing wedding gown. The cost of hand-made lace continues to rise as fewer people take the time to create such a lovely product.
I have washed my hands thoroughly before packing this dress and wiped down the box with disinfectant.
