#20-268, Edwardian 1900 - 1906 Battenberg (Tape Lace) Skirt Hand Made

This is a stunning hand-made lace skirt of Battenberg or Tape Lace. It was made in America during the Edwardian period sometime between 1900 and 1906. It would be fabulous for a wedding dress. It has been taken off its waist band and the back seam was taken out so that it could be cleaned.
There are no stains. I see several places where there are missing brides (thread that holds the pattern together) The lace is in good condition and could be used. The waist is
44” around, the dress form that I have it on has a 28” waist so I pleated the extra inches into the back of the dress and pinned it on the form. It can be adjusted to many different waist sizes. The front length is 42 inches from waist to hem.
Before packing this box I washed my
hands thoroughly and wiped down the box with disinfectant.
Due to the virus, shipping overseas is taking longer than
normal.  Priority International can take as long as two months. International Priority Standard up to three or more. If you do not live in United States, please ask before bidding so that you can be approved. Stay Safe & Be Well.

- Payment through Pay Pal is preferred but will make other arrangements if necessary. We request that as soon as auction is over, and you have received your invoice please pay for items won within three days of Auction end. Merchandise will be shipped within 48 hours as soon as payment is received.

For Domestic shipping, if an item is over 0, Signature Confirmation is added.  We will send won items up to 13 ounces - First Class. If 14 ounces or more it will be sent Priority mail or Parcel Select.  In most cases Priority mail up to 0, insurance is free, and shipping is actually less than Parcel Select.
