1940s Marcel Boucher Phrygian Cap Faux Opal Rhinestone Spray Fur Clip & Earrings

Description

Excellent vintage condition.  Minimal fine surface scratches and very little rhodium finish wear (most wear is on the inner earring paddles).  There is some yellowing of gem adhesive in spots. All stones intact. Fur clip can also be converted for use as a brooch using rollover clasp. The foil opal cabochon on the clip/brooch has a small spot on the top edge where foil seems missing; this appears to be an internal flaw and not damage (see close up pic).
Fur clip is signed MB with the Phrygian cap mark (used by Marcel Boucher before 1950) and stamped with a serial number 2418.  As for the earrings, one is stamped MB with the Phrygian cap mak, the other earring is marked marked with the number 2419.
