098205-04 Flame-Out Safety Control for DESA, REDDY, MASTER and other Heaters

Description

New direct replacement for the discontinued 098205-04 Flame-Out Control Circuit Board used in DESA kerosene heaters.  DESA private labeled many other brands of kerosene heaters including Reddy, John Deere, Master, Knipco, etc.
Important:  If you are based outside the United States, please ensure that your heater runs on 120 volts.  This safety control will be damaged and not operate properly at higher voltages, such as 230 volts typical in Europe and some other countries.
Also note:
This replacement part for the discontinued 098205-04 has a slightly different shape and color from the original, but operates identically from an electrical/safety function!

Connect the BLACK wire to the outside terminal of the safety control.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE BLACK WIRE IS CONNECTED TO THE TERMINAL CLOSEST TO THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE CONTROL.

Connect the RED wire to the center terminal of the safety control.

Connect the BLUE safety control wire to the blue photocell wire. (Some models had 2 blue wires. Use the wire removed from your old safety device.)

Connect the WHITE safety control wire with the remaining white wires.
Fully tested and verified using original manufacturer's certified test equipment and procedures.
